For those with limited mobility, the bathroom can present a unique set of challenges. Hard tile surfaces can easily become wet and slippery, increasing the risk of dangerous bathroom falls. The AmeriGlide Bath Lift is designed to help you overcome these obstacles, regain your independence, and enjoy a relaxing bath without assistance.

Our standard bath lift features sturdy construction that gives it a “heavier than it looks” feel. Installing your lift takes just minutes and doesn’t require any home modifications. All you have to do is place the lift in your tub and connect the controller. The lift simply plugs into the nearest available outlet.

To operate your lift, all you have to do is have a seat and one push of a button will smoothly and gently lower you into your tub. Exiting your bath is just as easy and will significantly reduce the risk of falls. In addition, you can customize your bathing experience by choosing from among three recline positions.

The AmeriGlide Bath Lift is a great tool for both patients and caregivers. It is a simple and affordable device that can make a significant impact on your quality of life. Have questions about this product? Call us today to speak with an expert and get the answer you need.

A Little About Myself
Pros
Easy to use. Easy to get on. My dad enjoyed being able to bathe alone.
Cons
Shorter than my dad's scooter chair so it made it a challenge to get him out. We used a towel and a transfer board to slide him over. Could be about 3 inches higher.
My dad enjoyed taking a bath and it was easy for him to get in alone with a transfer board and easy to bath himself. Had trouble getting him up the three inches onto his scooter.

Cool and calm
Pros
The chair is great. The price is great.
Cons
Service & Delivery
It wasn't a problem at all. She said we will fix it we will pick up the old and give you a new one, you can't ask for better service than that.
I had a problem with the hand control. The service girl on the phone was the nicest person to talk to.

Everything was good. Haven't had a reason yet for service. So far, so good.
Just wish the up and down were in color so you can see them better.

A Little About Myself
Son of the person that needed the lift
Pros
Simple and adjustable to needs
Cons
A trial period before you spend $500.00 would be helpful. Lot of money if it will not work for the users needs.
Service & Delivery
fine
The side flaps need to be a bit wider to rest fermly on the sides of the average tub. Then getting on and off the seat the base rocks a little as expected and the wing plates come very close to falling off the edge of tub. It would not effect the lift seat at all if wings were wider as they fold up the sides as you go down anyway. Or if the wall side wing was adjustable to go against the wall side of tub so seat did not move so much when getting in and out. Wider side plates would prevent some of the side to side motion that makes user feel a bit unstable during entry and exit.

Pros
Provides the safety and security I need to independently get in and out of the bathtub. Reasonably priced.
Cons
The suction cups came off at one time.
I would be lost without my bathtub lift chair. The name of the disability game is, "When you encounter a problem, try to circumvent it or solve it." The bathtub lift chair came to my rescue when I needed it most.

Pros

The AmeriGlide Bathlift does exactly what it claims to do. It lifts one easily in and out of the tub. The controls are easy to use. Directions are use easy to understand.

Cons
Erect and hard seat is uncomfortable. Most people do not sit at a 90 degree angle.
Service & Delivery
Delivery was fine. Service was good except for lack of an upgrade policy. Service should include some type of in person review since this is such an expensive item.
Unable to see unit in person resulted in disappointment. Unused, newly delivered unit was not able to be returned for an upgrade. Would have gladly paid the extra money for the reclining chair, but was not permitted to do so. Was told to donate the $500 purchase or sell it and then buy the upgrade.
